His dissertation explored the intersection of colonial politics and imperial policy during the Stamp Act crisis. Babicz teaches several history classes at CU, including America through Baseball, which has become his signature class in the RAP programs. Babicz is the author of a chapter exploring the historiography of sports and pastimes of the 1920s in A Companion to Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Herbert Hoover (2014). Currently, Babicz is writing a textbook for college America through Baseball courses for Rowman & Littlefield Publishers.
