Biography

Andrew Todd (DMA ’05, piano) enjoys a diverse career as a non-profit executive, fundraiser, consultant, and a concert pianist. Before coming to CU Â鶹ӰԺ for his doctoral degree program, he had received degrees from Northwestern University and the Mannes School of Music. While completing his studies at CU Â鶹ӰԺ, he made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. Following graduation, he held top executive roles at Aspen Public Radio, Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Blue Ridge Public Radio in Asheville, North Carolina. Additionally, Andrew has advised countless non-profit organizations as a consultant.

Todd’s impressive record of success includes partnering with leaders to define and elevate organizations’ overall strategic direction, demonstrated ability to build, inspire and lead teams to exceed goals, and a record of supporting staff in their professional development and career aspirations.

Todd also brings to the College of Music a demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) work, and emphasis on transparency and accountability. Additionally, he has strong experience and proven outcomes around community building, revenue and audience growth, and annual, major and principal gifts.Ìý

In addition to his role as Assistant Dean for Advancement, Andrew serves as a Lecturer at the College of Music, teaching a graduate level course in Arts Management.

A former professional soccer player and Division I athlete, Andrew spends his free time outdoors enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
