Project Description
We are working on efficient power conversion architectures for utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems and for ultra-fast electric vehicle charging applications. In this project, the power electronics prototype architecture developed by our graduate students will be deployed and tested at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The project involves assistance with setting up the prototype and testing environment, as well as collecting and interpreting perfromance data.
Special Requirements
Basic knowledge of circuits at the level of ECEN2250/2260 is required. Ideally, the student would have taken ECEN4797 Introduction to Power Electronics and ECEN 4517 Power Electronics Laboratory.Ìý
