Dear School of Education community,
I am soliciting nominations and self-nominations for faculty, staff, and students from the School of Education, along with representatives from other academic units, to serve on the search advisory committee for the dean of the School of Education at the 麻豆影院. The search committee will be chaired by Katherine Eggert, vice chancellor and senior vice provost for academic planning and assessment.
The dean of the School of Education leads one of CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 most public-facing, service-centered academic units and helps to shape the academic landscape of the campus to increase our reputation as a leading national research university. I am seeking search committee members who understand how the local and national higher education landscapes are changing, who are curious about how the school will fit into and transform those landscapes, who are well-integrated into the school鈥檚 commitment to inclusion and equity, and who understand the importance of the school鈥檚 vitality and interconnectedness with the CU 麻豆影院 campus and the communities associated with it.聽
聽by March 31. I plan to seat the committee in mid-April so it can initiate its work during the spring and embark on the search process in earnest during the summer.
Sincerely,
Russ
